Dans little adventure

We was out to catch the "Lesser Scaled Upside-down Fish" but...

Dan: "Oi! Where's me rod? "

ALan: "erm is that it in the middle of the lake?"

Dan: "Bugger!  I will get a boat :)"

Dan: "No bloody oars!"

Dan: "Right lets see if he's still on ... nope :("

Dan: "Just as well do a bit of boat fishing while I'm here"

Dan: "Dont call me an Oar!" You have heard of dan dan the lavatory man? Well now you know what he uses those brushes for (Ed. )

damn I peed my shorts!! Just thought about Dan again ha ha ha

Postscript: John the fishery manager said "I havent had such a good laugh in ages - this guy comes up and says "Have you got one of them pole things?" well I happened to have a second hand one so I showed him and he bought it.  10 minutes later he was back for another float and tackle (rig).  That made me smile - ogh the joys of trainee pole fishermen.  Well what do you know - 10 minutes later the same guy comes back looking sort of sheepish and says "'Scuse me can I borrow your boat?" hmm it was a strange request so I asked why and then he said I was just fishing on the lake and all of a sudden my new rod had gone!  I looked around and it was in the middle of the lake doing 20 knots!!!" - I had a job to stop myself laughing I can tell you!"
